Bats Spotted in the Nature Center

Bats Spotted in the Nature Center

On September 15th there was a bat sighting in the Fanwood Nature Center. A Boy Scout from Troop 33 built several bat homes and put them up, hoping to attract bats. Bats are a great resource in the Environment. Bats are pollinators, seed dispersers, and pest controllers (including mosquitoes, which are prominent in the Nature Center). View the great photo below taken from Facebook User Adam Sena. If you see bats around the bat boxes in the Nature Center let us know on our Facebook Page!
