ALBINO SQUIRREL SIGHTING (May 2008)

In May 2008, a small white mammal was spotted in the Nature Center. It appeared to be a young albino squirrel. Neighboring residents on Brohm Place saw it chasing/ playing with another squirrel.

RETURN OF THE PIEBALD DEER (March 2007)

The deer sighted last fall was spotted again. He still hadn't shed his antlers.

PIEBALD DEER SIGHTING (November 2006)

This deer was sighted by Dean Talcott - Caretaker for Fanwood Nature Center in the week of 2006 Thanksgiving on the power lines next to the Fanwood Nature Center. It has not been seen in this area in a few years. It was a 4 or 6 point buck.
